A lover of nature, a facilitator of movement & meditation, an advocate & practitioner of Herbal medicine— I’m here to support and provide you with holistic health remedies for optimal functioning of the mind-body-spirit system.

My life so far has been fulfilling with various influences and inspiration. Due to an assortment of experiences and undertakings over the years, I find myself able to relate with people from a place of understanding, non-judgement and authenticity.

Currently I live in Naarm (Melbourne) with the vision of continually building meaningful relationships and creating community. I am enjoying the process of grounding here; maintaining connection with friends and family (including 2 beautiful nieces to see flourish through life); along with personally sharing in the studio and clinic all the modalities and techniques I have studied and found truly valuable for my own life path. Aside from working as a therapist and health practitioner, I am also a support worker for a man with a complex set of conditions. This support work role has gifted me with generous amounts of patience, humility and compassion plus a reminder to seek out the fun and enjoyment of life.

From a young age I have been curious and conscientious. I genuinely enjoy learning, discovering and exploring ways to be creative, finding a sense of playfulness in it all. Equally I am keenly observant and intuitive. My mind operates in such a way as to find meaning and a sense of harmony- honing in on the smaller details and zooming out to see the bigger picture. Growing up camping in the Australian bush and by the beaches, having a relationship with the natural world is also an intrinsic part of who I am.

Through my teens into my early twenties I studied as a screen actor, and appeared in a handful of Australian TV shows and ads. Proceeding high school I studied fashion design, becoming a fashion buyer for a well-known fashion retailer by the age of 23. Looking back, I see that these aspiring careers provided a good foundation for learning how to express myself, communicate effectively and interact with a variety of people, along with remaining adaptable and versatile- I believe this has helped to positively shape the facilitator and therapist I am today. Realising however that neither of these roles were feeding my soul, I spent a good portion of my twenties travelling and living overseas, opening my mind to all sorts of experiences with the idea it may lead to reclaiming my passion and a new calling.

One particular trip began with a one-way ticket to South America at the age of 27, where I learnt the language from scratch, travelled solo, gave up alcohol for a time and re-discovered Yoga (having explored in it on-and-off from the age of 17) completing my first Yoga teacher training in Peru. Travel around the world continued and having both the freedom and challenge of finding my way independently through many countries; I built a sense of trust in myself; absorbed culture, history and art; observed society and human behaviour; and truly connected with nature. Having time to be in Mother Nature helped redefine ideas of inspiration, beauty and wonder aiding in a much needed re-connection to my spirit and the world around me. At a time of misplaced identity, rekindling with the natural world sparked a new light in me.

Immersing in the cycles of nature also offered a remembering of my own body’s rhythms and cycles; I realised that I had neglected the needs of my own health with auto-immune issues, anxiety and stress, burn-out and nervous system dysregulation appearing over the years as strong messages to re-evaluate how I lived in terms of my wellbeing. Needless to say travel proved to be an excellent teacher and I settled back in Australia in my early thirties with a renewed sense of purpose- to nourish my own healing and health journey and to work with other people on their journey of health and wellbeing- studying Counselling, undertaking more Yoga training, and completing a Bachelors degree in Health Science.

Continuing to study and accumulate knowledge of the spiritual, emotional and physiological realms of being human; exploring the prevention of mental and physical dis-ease and shedding light on our inherent self-healing capacity; I aim to cultivate a safe and nourishing place for personal growth and help promote a life of joy, purpose, vitality and balance.

“A true vocation calls us out beyond ourselves; breaks our heart in the process and then humbles, simplifies and enlightens us about the hidden, core nature of the work that enticed us in the first place.” — David Whyte

The classes, workshops and retreats I facilitate are inclusive and integrated from my years of self-practice and study. I have been teaching in a variety of spaces— studio, corporate, large groups, private— for 10 years. Overall my approach as a yoga & movement facilitator is grounded, effective and intuitive as I encourage gentle self-enquiry and deeper self-connection utilising movement, sound, breath & meditation.

As a Herbalist and Yoga therapist, I combine my understanding of human biology with evidence-based health research alongside the traditional wisdom and energetics of Herbal medicine and other Eastern traditions. I see my role as an educator in the community for preventative health along with empowering clients through their path of self-awareness, encouraging autonomy by offering a range of holistic treatments and therapeutic options to choose from.
